DENVER (AP) — Molson Coors will attempt to sell pot-infused drinks in Canada, where consumable marijuana will become legal next year. Molson Coors Brewing Co. is based in Colorado, which along with Washington, were the first states to legalize recreational use of marijuana. Recreational marijuana becomes legal in Canada in October, but consumable forms of the drug will be legal there in 2019. The brewer said Wednesday that its Canadian division will partner with the Canadian cannabis producer The Hydropothecary Corp. to develop a non-alcoholic drink containing marijuana. Molson Coors Canada will hold a 57.5 percent controlling stake in the stand-alone joint venture. Hydropothecary will own the remaining ownership interest. The deal is expected to close before the end of September.
In a world gone weed it's always a pleasure to see innovation as manufacturers define their niche in the marketplace. Hat's off to House of Gro for making their CBD Product Line just that by incorporating the strongest antioxidant in the world, the Chaga Mushroom. Over the past 30 days Weed Spectator's review team was busy testing all of 8 of their products for women, men and canine friends. Here's what we have to say about it. And then their were vape pens. A way to enjoy the benefits of cannabis smoking without the smell of smoke or carting around of paraphernalia. Ask a hardcore toker what they think of vape pens and they will tell you it's not potent enough for them but will suffice in a pinch. Nothing will ever replace the ritual of packing a bowl or rolling a joint but for those of us that are on the move or going incognito the vape pen is a game changer. At Weed Spectator we don't rate vape cartridges for the cannabis database. The database is flower only. Some vape manufacturers use consistent strains and others go unique one time batches. There are too many variables during the manufacturing process that could affect the original rating score of the flower. Knowing that the oil within the cartridge will vary we dig deeper into other facets of the vape pen, including clogging, leakage, evaporation and battery. This study used multiple strains and devices from the following vape pen manufacturers in California. Here's the summary of our 30 day study: Americanna │ Simple packaging with minimal waste. These cartridges were consistently potent and tasty. The oil went quick though. Experienced leaking in 1/5 cartridges. The battery didn't hold charges for that long. You can use this cartridge with other batteries. $$ Bloomfield Farm │ Modern in store displays and packaging. Cartridge strains were consistently potent and tasty. The oil burned nice and slow making the cartridge life much longer than most others. Occasional clogging. Had to open the cartridge to give it a burp a few times. Then it was back to hitting great again. Battery charges well. $$ Select │ Smooth simple oil. Medium potency. Oil burned quick. Can use [...]
